So much for my once daily journal posts. I am not sure what about last week got me so out of rhythm with posting. Instead of trying to re-create the week here, I'll just add a snippet from each day last week based on ever-failing memory and my amazing Passion Planner.
I'll get back to the daily routine this week.
3.22.17: Crossfit again! I got a great compliment from Coach Doug which made me happy. It is the little things.
3.23.17: Didn't sleep well last night due to stomach issues so decided to take a sick day from work. The kids also stayed home so we worked on and posted our very first vlog. It is fun working on projects with them, especially because their ideas are so different than mine. I only hope we can keep the momentum going because we have big goals for this YouTube channel including traveling around the world, buying a Lamborghini, and renting out the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. I felt better after spending most of the day resting and Sawyer was able to talk me into Crossfit again! The third time this week.
3.24.17: Lots to catch up on at work because of my day off yesterday but I was productive and felt good about the day. After work, I picked Sawyer up from Crossfit, grabbed a smoothie and went home to work on getting our garage sale ready for tomorrow. Was so impressed with Sawyer and how hard he worked on the CrossFit Open 17.5. He is an animal! Speaking of animals, the cutest puppy was there! He was so soft....
3.25.17: Garage sales are a lot of work! Sawyer was a huge help and we finished just in time to pick Nova up from practice. We are $149.50 richer and our garage is now empty of all of the stuff we had been storing for so long. We dropped Sawyer off at Waterman Training and then Nova and I headed home to relax and then make slime. Decided to go to dinner at Plated Modern---pretty good, especially as a to-go place.
3.26.17: I started the Whole 30 today! The kids, including Marlin and Luna, and I went to iFly, an indoor skydiving place in Tampa. After, we had lunch at TopGolf and then went shopping at the Ellenton Outlet mall. It was fun but a bit tiring with a three year old all day. She is the cutest though and I love hanging out with her. Aaron has been really busy lately and hasn't been able to have any fun with us. I feel lucky though--even though I have a full time job, I feel like I spend as much time as I can with the kids and I love doing it.
