4.17.17: Monday

gymnasts

I didn't write this on Monday night and I am having a hard time remembering what went on two days ago.  I know I worked from home and I know I went to CrossFit.

I walked in the morning with Sarah and it is always nice to catch up with her.  I took Flower with us but she is so out of shape that she couldn't make it around the block one time.  I need to spend more time with the dogs and taking them out for walks will probably be better for me and them.

Aaron took Nova to her gymnastics photos at a local park and instead of hanging out like a normal parent, he decided to get on a paddleboard and paddle around the lake.  Nova was sort of embarrassed by him being out on the water like that but I am hoping that she actually appreciates his weirdness.  Dad's are supposed to embarrass their kids, right?

At CrossFit, we were doing one-rep max on cleans.  I was happy that I tried a weight that I couldn't do (and actually threw the weight).  I tried it again and got it.  So, my one rep-max is 78 pounds on cleans.  Pretty happy about that.

After CrossFit, the kids and I went to Target and then home to make chic patty sandwiches for dinner.  Nova has decided to be a vegetarian so all of the meals this week will suit them.  After dinner, I finished our taxes.  We owe a ton and I am so thankful the IRS offers payment plans.  We are going to need it.
