It was such a rainy day, not a lot of thunder and lightning but a deluge of rain.  I love days like today.  I sit in my office, with my cinnamon tea, still wearing pajamas and just get work done.  The house is quiet, except the rain.  All of the animals sleep.

Today is a work from home day, which is good because I am still sick.  Coughing, hacking, just generally tired and unwell.  I took a nap during my lunch break today and woke up feeling refreshed and better.  Since I am at home, Aaron wants to talk about the business and I have to keep reminding him that I have to finish up work for my other job.  He is not taking it well.  Fortunately, things are picking up for the business but unfortunately, we didn't take care of a lot of things we needed to do in the off season, like finding great staff, re-doing our website and  building a storage facility for our equipment.  All of that will have to wait I suppose.

The rain stopped this afternoon and I talked Sawyer into walking around the block with me.  He skateboarded, I walked and for awhile he held my hand while I pulled him.  It was nice to be in the fresh air and the sky was beautiful.  It wasn't until recently I realized that not everyone gets to see the sunset everyday.  The sunsets here can be pretty amazing.

After our walk, Sawyer did homework, while I cooked some really sub-par pasta, waiting for Nova to get home from practice.  We ended the evening watching Modern Family and Black-ish.  Really quite a boring, but pretty typical weekday.
