Weekly Waves: Last Week of September 2025

Hey everyone,
September's almost over, which feels crazy. I'm still dealing with Florida heat, but I can't help getting excited about fall recipes.
What I'm Making This Week
I posted two smoothie recipes this week – the Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie and Mango Peach Smoothie. Both have been perfect for these hot mornings. Since we're at the end of peach season, now's a good time to make my Peach Crisp if you haven't tried it yet. I posted it a couple years ago, but it's still one of my favorites.
October starts next week, so I'm already thinking pumpkin. My Pumpkin Coffee Cake and Pumpkin Bread are ready to go (the bread really is better than Starbucks), and I'm working on a new Pumpkin Mochi recipe that I think you'll love.
For dinner, try the Butternut Squash Soup – it's one of my go-to fall recipes. The Pumpkin Chili is also perfect right now. I'm planning to refresh that recipe soon, but the current version is still really good.

What's Going On
I just got back from Puerto Rico for the Bad Bunny concert (which was amazing!), and the food there was incredible. Really inspired me for future recipes.

I also went to San Francisco recently and did one of my training runs over the Golden Gate Bridge, which was amazing. One of the highlights was stopping at this breakfast burrito place in Lemoore, California. We got these GIANT breakfast burritos and they were amazing. My cousins told me about how amazing the burritos were and they were right.
Random Things I'm Into Right Now
Trader Joe's chocolate covered gummy bears have become my new obsession. I seriously buy three bags a week. I use them for running fuel!
Also, I am really loving salt sticks, also for running. It is so hot here and these little electrolyte tabs make things so much better.
